Who is Harry Potter?

Image
"TEN POINTS AWARDED TO GRYFFINDOR!!"      Can anyone guess where that's from? If you don't already know, that's a Harry Potter reference, one of the many I tend to drop (not so subtly) in casual conversation. Now, if you haven't read or seen any Harry Potter, this blog post is perfect for you!      The incredible tale of Harry Potter written by the best of all fictional novelists J. K. Rowling is about a boy, with a lightning bolt scar, earned on the day the darkest wizard of all time (Lord Voldemort/Tom Riddle Jr./He Who Must Not Be Named/You Know Who/The Dark Lord) tried to kill this little 2 year old infant. All the while, Voldemort killed his mother and father, leaving tiny little Harry to live with his annoying muggle (that's non magic folk) aunt and uncle.      Nonetheless, he discovers Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and earns the House Gyffindor (other Houses include Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin). He also meets ...

What is MI Paste?

This paste is a non-surgical treatment for a number of dental symptoms. It is a unique,  topical, water-based, sugar-free tooth cream that looks like toothpaste. We need right nutrient to be able stay healthy and like our bones, the teeth need the right minerals. Some of those minerals are fluoride, calcium, and phosphate. Our saliva is providing us with some of those important minerals but some activities can cause acid imbalance which makes it hard for saliva to produce those minerals that strengthen our teeth and protect the enamel.      MI Paste is the only product with a special milk-derived protein (CPP-ACP) that releases those minerals in mouth (calcium and phosphate, and also fluoride in MI Pate Plus). MI Paste uses calcium and phosphate to restore and redeposit  these minerals in your teeth.  MI Paste is effective in helping patients who have sensitive teeth, acid erosion, high rate of dental caries, and white spots or other m...

Biore Charcoal Collection: Pore Minimizer Review

A few months ago, I was introduced to a quite new exfoliating cleanser. It mainly consists of charcoal which is commonly known as one of the best ingredients used in skincare. Charcoal not only has detoxifying properties which allows for the extraction of impurities, but also leaves your skin glowing and in no way irritated. A personal favorite brand of mine is the “Biore Charcoal Collection”, more specifically the "Biore Charcoal Pore Minimizer". This fast working cleanser is infused with natural charcoal and micro crystals for gentle exfoliation. In this advanced formula, the natural charcoal activates and removes dirt and oil that clogs pores as well as leaves the skin very smooth (that’s the micro crystals doing their job).      From just one use, I was able to immediately see results. In addition, the bottle dispenser is very simple to use and is shaped for easy storage. I recommend using this cleanser 3 to 4 times a week because it can cau...

Throne of Glass Book Review

As 2015 barrels through, we must all take time to appreciate the great book that have been published recently. One that has caused quite a stir in the YA (that’s Young Adult for all you Muggles out there) World, is Throne of Glass , by Sarah J. Maas. It starts off with an amazing female protagonist and her struggle against a tyrant monarch, leading his corrupt people and country into war and terror. The 18 year old leading lady is none other than Celaena Sardothien, a top assassin thrown into jail after being sought by the King’s men. Being her brave and “oh so courageous” self, she survives a year in the Kingdom’s imprisonment camp. Her freedom is then fought for, when Prince Dorion Havilliard offers her as his Champion for a game his father had created. This game, or competition, is a series of challenges given to the said Champions to see which is best fit to be the king’s personal assassin. Calaena accepts immediately and is shipped off. From then on, the story takes its t...
