Imagine Dragons

Have you ever heard of imagine dragons? Maybe! I will be taking the liberty today, of telling you how I discovered them and my "firebreather story".
When I found out my favorite stand-alone novel, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" was being made into a movie, I was ecstatic. So as I sat, ready to watch the trailer, an upbeat song played in the background. Me being my curious self decided to look up the song. It was called "It's Time" by Imagine Dragons.
And that's what started it all. Soon, Night Visions (one of their albums) was in my possession and all I was listening to. Still very young into the world of Firebreathers, I decided to go on social media accounts to find more fellow fans.
This is the point of my story, where everything felt like it changed. To know that there were other people who loved them AND their music as much as I did, was a phenomenon. I was blessed to discovered amazing, beautiful, and kind people that I would never have known about without their music.
But it wasn't just that. Their music was (and still is) extremely powerful. Never have I heard them say any swear words, anything offensive, demeaning, or cruel. They only speak their feelings. Their inner feelings, hopes, doubts, joys, etc.
The different components that make up this beautiful band are probably what I love about them the most. The fact that they're all AMAZING at their instruments and getting the music to bend your feelings. But also how the lyrics that they speak honestly touch you and help you better understand their emotions.
Imagine dragons changed me. They opened my eyes. I met my some of my closest and best friends through them and made amazing experiences because of them. I have many more beautiful encounters to expect as I adventure, along with their music playing in the background of my life.
They, as a band, were able to bring people of all over the world, all different backgrounds to one main ground, where we can enjoy music and communicate. To top this off, they created a multitude of foundations, such as the Tyler Robinson Foundation, assisting those in need with pediatric cancer.
One thing I pride them on, is that they're able to get the message across and how they feel without bringing up anything having to do with alcohol, drugs, violence, or prejudice. They promote a sense of respect and show that  humans are able to communicate without all of that extra "stuff" in between.
The dragon's two most recent albums are Night Visions (2012) and Smoke + Mirrors (2015). This album is incredible! Despite my high bias, it's probably the best album of ALL TIME! It is so deep and it spends 13+ songs telling a story. The smoke + mirrors tour has yet to begin and I will be attending two venues (Los Angeles and San Diego).
If you have any "firebreather stories", please feel free to write them down in the comment bar below! I will be sure to reply!

Hugs,

Little K.
